It is the same weight, gears, lights and price as the Kalkhoff Tasman, but Nexave front brake (rear brakes?) whereas the Tasman has Magura Hydraulics front and rear.
Personally I think it is good to see another Panasonic powered bike available in the UK.

But where are these from as I have not heard of them. Plus I just don't see where the weight is

Thanks John, I should have remembered that one. I can barely keep up with the range now, Panasonic taking over the e-bike world.

Now they've added a front hub motor bike as well, that might be their intention!

Where are the rear brakes on the Helkama? I can't see any and the Helkama website does not give a clue. Helkama Velox&

P.S. love the backing track on the website, wonder if it is on itunes

It's a coaster brake on the rear gear hub John, the back pedal type. Horrible things, but still liked on the continent by some.

That backing track could be it's squeals.
