May consider a new ebike £800-900 or modifying current hybrid 700c Norco Indie which I use daily. I do like tinkerering so may well think about mods on the Norco if it is a suitable candidate preferably a cd kit as it seems an easier option to fit also like the idea of a battery contained on /in the rear rack as I use panniers which would also diguise said pack.
