Hi,
my names Graham and I live in the Southmead area of North Bristol and have become more and more frustrated with the 3 miles commute to work

- no parking available at work so park on roads and 0.5 mile walk in
- showers available at work but taking clothes in is a hassle on a push bike
- fuel costs are becoming unreasonable £20 a week (2l petrol auto car)

The metro will allow me to park on site at work and allow a shorter 2.2 mile route including cycle paths.

I went for my first ride this morning ( with my wife Mandy following on a scooter - I am a complete newbie to ebikes, but have used motorbikes and push bikes in the past).

First impressions are good on a 5.5 mile ride. The battery level readout dropped alarmingly to start with, to nearly half, but recovered to a 2 thirds when I stopped.

So about 15 mile range on a single battery, used heavily and unrestricted on speed.

Will let you know how my first week using it for real turns out

The battery meter will drop sharply when riding under power Graham, but that doesn't indicate what's left in the battery since it's also measuring the motor's current drain then.

The meter will only be fairly accurate when the motor isn't driving, for example when pausing pedalling for a few moments and with any throttle closed.

You should find the A2B very easily copes with your commute.
