Helton Tandem Carrier - suitable for Ebike?

Has anyone experience of using a Helton Carrier to transport an Ebike on a car roof? Years ago we used one to transport a tandem. Now J's trike goes on a flat-bed carrier at the back of the car and I've been managing with a Brompton in the boot - great for short distances but I really need the Ebike for anything more than a couple of flat miles!
