I hope you didn't pay much for it. You get replacement batteries from Cytronex.

If I were given that bike with a defective battery, I'd chuck all the Cytronex stuff apart from the motor, then get a standard Chinese controller and battery with whatever capacity I needed, which would probably a lot cheaper than just the Cytronex battery.

Hi,
Paid £100.
I’ve looked on that thread and Cytronex have stopped supplying legacy batteries so was hoping I could get it cells replaced.
I saw a thread where a guy call Jimmy was mentioned but can’t find him on any web pages?

There is a battery company on e bay down Bristol way maybe get a quote for a re cell .

My experience since joining on here is the KT controller LCD and PAS and buy whatever battery your budget and use you want suits you .

I agree, keeping your motor and fitting a KT controller and display with a new battery would be the way to go. Re-celling can be more expensive than new and, since Jimmy passed, there's no-one I could recommend.
You can put together your own KT kit at Topbikekit. Used them myself, they are reliable.
Greenlance batteries seem to be a reliable UK source of quality batteries.

There is a guy down in Bristol advertising on e bay or the guy also on e bay in Peckham London who I have used for balancing that do battery re builds depending on if They can get original replacement BMS boards if the battery has comms and they run into problems with the BMS then a re cell is a waste of time and money better to go down the kit route as most will not re- cell Comms batteries especially Carrera or similar systems.
IE a lot of batteries now have anti tamper technology fitted .
