Hi all, thought I would do a quick intro as I recently joined this forum
I’m a 50 something that has retired this year and so looking to improve health fitness and pick up some hobbies. I’ve been cycling since I soon started to walk. In February I went on a ride and being thoroughly out of shape bought my first e-bike. - a Tenways CGO600 used from eBay at a good price. This has been a brilliant Bike with lots of interesting Tech. However, it struggles on the hills and so when I saw a folding bike on eBay that had a Bafang mid motor conversion for also a good price I grabbed it. After some struggles and time only a retired person can afford I manage to revert the folding bike to its original state and moved the motor to my Carrera fury.

this has only been recently done and I just programmed the controller with correct and road legal PAS settings. Riding this bike with 0-9 PAS levels and 9 gears (90 speed) still something I’m getting used to, but it definitely seems to have more torque for the hills!
The plan is to do more touring with these bikes and have also picked up a range extended battery for the Tenway.
