It's too long a story to bore you all with, but I ordered a Swytch kit for a Thorn Raven Sport Tour bike (lovely, great bike) for my wife, but in the 11.5 months that we waited for it to arrive my wife fell ill and now cannot cycle. So I am wondering about fitting it to my Thorn Raven Sport or buying a cheap second hand bike to fit the kit to. The kit is a Go Plus for 26" wheel and rim brakes. I joined here in the hope of getting up to speed with Swytch issues and options to help we think a bit more clearly about things.

My Wife has a swytch kit on her bike its about 3 yrs old and has been good , only weakness on her one is the battery clips into a bracket not unlike a Ricken & Kaul bar bag one. The contacts have benefited from some electrical contact grease . I believe the more modern kits have a different connection mechanism
