Great to have found this very helpful and interesting forum. Am new to electric bikes, having just converted my push bike a few months ago. Found it great up hills. Would be nice to know a few good replies to sarcastic comments from the lycra brigade though! The last one asked me if I would like him to switch of my battery for me.

How about:

"You're just jealous", said with a friendly but mischievous smile.

Or:

"Your electricity went in making your lightweight bike", said sarcastically.
