I am 71 and with my wife have pedalled in Europe from the back of our motorhome for years. Looking to the future and not forgetting the knees we have decided to go electric.
We were looking for a light bike as lifting our 14kg Giants onto the rack is near my limit. I now realise that lightweight does not exist, but we have found a bike rack with a built in lift device, so.....
Can anyone point us towards a smaller stepthrough pedelec as my wife is only 5ft tall and she finds even her Giant stepthrough with 16" frame awkward to use. (she's OK riding it but there seem to be a lot of obstacles when on towpaths etc. where the bike has to be hoiked around manually).
Any other tips appreciated.
