Hi folks, have been into electric powered things for quite a while now, thought it was abut time I joined a bike forum as I'm looking for another e bike, and also looking for some info on changing the battery on a friends metro a2b. I've owned several electric skateboards over the years, the fastest one being a lithium powered brushless motor one which went 20mph, and I've owned a converted mountain bike which did 30mph on the flat, I think that one was 500w. As you can probably tell I'm into speed over everything else, just toying with the idea of converting my own bike or buying one already done, it's such a minefield though with all the different motor powers and battery choices, the eBay kits have you believe more watts = more power but I'm not sure this is the case? Anyway I'll stop waffling now..
