hi i am new to this forum my name is stan i have a powerbyke x.24 i have had it for 2 years.it needs a new battery any advice would would be most welcome

This one should be a direct replacement. It has the high discharge rate (30A max).

If you want longer range, then you could try one of these ones but check that it'll fit in your frame allowing a bit extra so you can lift the battery out of its cradle (comes up at the top/front):

Two years doesn't seem very long for the battery to last, unless Powabykes are known to have poor ones.

Has it been in regular use?

'Use it or lose it' seems to be the motto for batteries.

On the subject of use, there are a few members on here in the North East and we have a forum ride near Consett pencilled in for later this month.

I see you are in Hartlepool - monkey hangers also welcome.
