As posted here http://www.pedelecs.co.uk/forum/uk-off-road-s-pedelecs-overseas/15780-how-many-people-using-there-e-bike-off-road-10.html#post201675 I hit the 1000km on the BH today.
I realise that to many that distance may not seem that great, but to me it's an achievement. Up until July of this year the concept of even riding a normal bike was one that I'd never really considered, so buying an electric bike was even more weird.
Owning and riding this bike as and when I can grab the time, has given me a whole new lease of life, and a fantastic and healthy hobby along the way.
I'm for one very grateful for electric bikes, and look forward to covering many more KM to come.
If I get my act together and just for fun, perhaps I shall start a 2014 Overall Mileage Discussion Thread. That way we could all share our mileages and challenges as the year goes along. I'm sure that my 1000km is nothing more than a mere passing to many, but reading about the riding experiences of others, is good motivation to get out and ride.
