HL Batt. Switch Question

Hi, the switch on my HL batt. Only seems to work when it's held down, it shows 4 lights which I assume are showing the charge in the batt. Should the switch turn the batt on/off as on mine the power is constantly on to the display screen which I can turn on/off.

The HL battery comes in two styles, one with a red rocker switch for power and a USB port, the other without either. They both have a level meter as you describe, with a small press button between the led’s to show the level of charge.

Without the switch you turn the controller on/off from the bikes controls and if you want to isolate the battery you have to unplug it.
