Hi guys,
I was thinking of buying a new e-bike for under $1000.
Not a fan of high-power, just need it for my daily commute.
If it could be foldable that would be better!
My friend recommended the DYU ebike to me, but I'm new to it. Need more advice.
Can anyone help me pls? Is this ebike right for me or any other suggestions?

Who's going to fix it when it goes wrong? If you don't know about these things, buy from a local ebike shop or from an online retailer that has a proper system for doing repairs by mail order after the warranty has run out. Not many have that.

I looked briefly at the DYU ebike website, its not a maker I have heard of however at first sight I would not discount it as there do seem to be actual shops selling these so I would find out the closest and book a test ride. When your there find out what motor type it is cost of replacement/ additional battery or anything else suggested by other posters and the full spec of the model your interested in then come back for advice.

As for other alternatives that would depend on where you live.
