It might be a really silly question but I simply don't know the answer...

I got a battery from BMS battery that does not write anything anywhere for the ah of the unit.

I possess a cycle analyst as well and I do want to figure how many ah do I have left to not deeply discharge the battery..

The problem is that I asked for 10ah and due to lack of stck the offered to change it for a 12 ah one.. We had some mails but I don't really know what they ment so now I am not sure which is it....

No easy way, you would need to carry out a controlled discharge until the pack hits LVC and measure the time it took... Many batteries are quoted at the C/20 rate not the more useful C1 rate so if you discharged a 10Ah at C1 (10amps in 1 hour) the capacity may not agree with the manufactures figure....

Thanks! I Do know that I cant damage it entirely but it is bad for its livetime right? I mean I keep reading about how you sould not discharge the battery below 10-20% to keep the battery at its optimal health.
But I guess one deep discharge wont be noticed...

Exactly, once or twice doesn't matter, it's only consistent deep discharging that adds up to loss of life.
