Hello,

I'd like to add "pockets" on each side of my battery:

The idea is to have about 50-60 cells more on each of the side as displayed above. So a total of 150 cells.

This box has the benefit to be quite secure on the bike and no one ever tried to steal it. I wonder what's the best way to achieve that? I am thinking maybe some strong heavy duty tarpaulin fabric maybe?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/WATERPROOF-HEAVY-RESISTANT-TARPAULIN-FABRIC/dp/B00HYED3AO/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1428524849&sr=8-5&keywords=heavy+duty+waterproof+fabric

And fabric could be glued on the side?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/3---1-Advanced-Craft-Glue/dp/B001683NAO/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1428524897&sr=8-2&keywords=fabric+glue

Expected load on each side of the box would be 3kg. So a total of 9 kg battery.

I am conscious I may have trouble to pedal with that configuration, so I'd need to prototype it first. Any idea how to make it better? Or is it all good to have a go?

All I can say is Wacky idea again Cwah makes me :) though. 9 kg in one lump awesome, quite a lot of weight to be held in place by the bottle fixings.

I don't know who sells this bag but you can use a padlock to lock the two sides together, wrapping around the top tube. You may have to add kevlar to strengthen the fabric.
