I have 3 ebikes I'm currently converting which will adhere to the new regulations (UK) for road use as an EAPC. They are all over 1000w, but will be road legal with number plates/license/insurance.
The test requirements stipulate I have to limit the bikes to 28mph.
I have managed to limit the speed on two of the bikes using the display (SW900) settings. However, on the third bike which has a different controller and display, the setting that limits the speed on the display has literally no effect, with the wheel spinning up to 45mph no matter what I change the max speed to.
The display is a UKS6 colour display.
The controller, though (different to the other controllers), does have a yellow and black 2-pin lead marked "SPEED LIMIT" - Is this how I utilise the max speed - if so, how??
The controller is a 35a Sine-Wave controller, model RM365235SVPR
