Hi Everybody

I confess I'm not all that new here. I've been a silent visiting trawler of hints, tips and basics for some time now. I bet there's a lot like me! Forums like this are one of the best features of the internet, I reckon.

I have a Cytronex Trek FX 7.3, purchased over three years ago and (fingers crossed) still going strong. The Cytronex bikes have their limitations (mainly their high-speed-only operation) and may not be everyone's cup of tea, but they do what they do very well. My only problems have been three punctures, a temperamental light switch, a nicked battery and some oik who released the springs on both brakes outside Sainsbury's.

But I've had a hankering for a lighter, leaner, less complicated machine for a while now. And, this very day, piece one of the jigsaw arrived: two Goldant motors from keyde.com. Worryingly, they were numbered LDT00001 and LDT00002. I have a new found sympathy for rodents employed in medical testing. There's a thread somewhere about these. I'll post up some details.

Cheers everyone!
