Hi all. My back wheel on my Carrera Vulcan E has started to develop a small amount of play in it. Are the bearings in the SR Suntour HESC hub motor adjustable like any other hub or are they fixed roller bearings. The bike has only done 650 miles so it would be good to know before I go back to the local Halfords about it.

I doubt if they are loose/open caged bearings, like most hubs they will be press fit sealed caged ones.
It might be that the bearing/ axle retaining nut needs a tweak.

Thanks for that Nealh. Apparently it's got the adjustable bearing in the cassette side but it needs a special tool to do it. It's getting done early next week but i will check it out my self for future reference.

Be interesting to know. I'm a great believer in trying it yourself, I'll have a go at most things, I've yet to find any meaningful documentation on Carerra stuff.
