Hi there has anyone managed to get a 500w folding trike insured against theft? I had to get a 500w to be able to get up the hill to where I live. I’m disabled and can’t walk more than 20m, which is why I got it. I know all about the legalities. I just want to insure against theft as it seems to get a lot of attention. Thanks in advance.

Whether they will cover it since you say its not legal, then just check it out with Barclays
I have Barclays insurance, as I recall theft of a not road legal bike is covered, but public liability is excluded.
