Anyone knows if one of the big names for home insurance actually covers ebikes?
I have spoken to aviva and went through to the compare sites and apparently the majority of them specify 'pedal bikes' rather than ebike or electric assisted bike. Aviva mentioned to me they could cover it but not the tyres and not for intentional damage. Only theft when in or away from home as part of their home insurance.
I seem to be getting a pattern here. Do most of you go for a bike specific insurance eventually ?
