Interesting looking folding bike

My usual trawl through eBay threw up this interesting looking folding bike:

Folding Bike

A tiny bit heavy and not a particularly high capacity battery, but it's neat the way it folds, has a cool looking display and actually looks refreshingly modern IMO.

I've seen this bike few times. They are building the bike for its design before its function. It's heavy (24.5kg), isn't compact when folded, doesn't fold quickly, doesn't roll easily when folded and IS expensive!

So many bad points for a futurist design.


A better bike I would mod would be te Tilt:

It's not compact, but it folds and unfold in 1 second... and roll once folded. Perfect for urban cycling!

the tilt looks interesting but would it still fold easily after you add a bunch of cables and where would you put the battery? the only obvious place is inside the chain cover.
Maybe a good candidate for a friction drive.
