Back on the original subject of my intermittent cut-out, after much messing I now know the problem - its the key switch. If I bypass it everything is fine, apart from the fact I have to take the battery out whenever the bike's not in use.
Sports-HQ quoted me £90 for a replacement switch (it also forms the locking mech that hold the battery into the bike). Anyone know of a cheaper supplier?
Alternatively, I need to fit an alternative switch, hopefully a small one that will fit the case as well as the original so I still have the locking mech in place.
I bought one of these from maplin but for some reason it doesn't hack the job - only a small current is passed and the lights only flicker on. Can anyone suggest a suitable rated switch, which is or can be made waterproof?
