Site appears to be down.

If anyone has a new link or info regarding where to purchase their batteries, please let me know.

Thanks !

John as you know I have purchased from them in the past though I think this ebayer is the same/supplies them. You can email him his name is Ray and again I have purchased quite a few of my cells/6s1p packs from him. Remember its a Chinese holiday so sites may be down/unchecked and ebay seller shops shut.

items in OMG Battery store on eBay!

A123RC was up yesterday when I checked.

As an aside I am currently testing a new DIY battery this time 36v 6Ah and weighing just 1.8Kg. Making up this pack will cost me around £110 pounds only £30 more than my A123 2.3Ah packs.

Again being DIY it will be repairable with a few spare cells purchased for back up.

Regards

Jerry

But Jerry would only cost you £165 for 10 AH Headways or is weight a problem?

Muckymymits. I have pondered this over and over and although headways are ideal they are just sooooo big and heavy.

I just need something a little bigger than my 2.3Ah for longer non commute journeys.

12s1p Headways would be nearer £200 by the time you include bars, cell holders and postage. Also when I looked in the UK none seem to be in stock with the normal provider.

Thats where I got mine from and was hoping they would fit in to both the Izip battery packs but no joy, just too long. The 10AH would go but thats defeating the object, so need to make my own cases now. Anyone know where I can get 10 or 12 mm acrylic?

Oh and this new battery measures 200mm * 80mm * 70mm so will fit in the back pocket of a Brompton C bag :D

So 36v (41v at full charge), 6Ah, 1.8kg and 200*80*70mm.

I am currently testing a 3Ah version one at the moment.
