I've bought one ...I first tried this bike at Presteign 2009.
At that time the only fault I had with it was no ON/OFF button...well now it has that and on paper I couldn't fault it so I travelled to Cheltenham where UM have their UK distribution depot and as promised Mark loaned me a demo. for the afternoon.

I gave it a good trial and I was really pleased, quiet, smooth, comfortable, stylish...everything I wanted in fact....couldn't fault it and if Mark is any indication, It's an excellent company to deal with....thanks for everything Mark.....I'm sure I won't be disappointed.

The best price I could find was luckily from one of the best place's to buy....Amazon...£1055 and free delivery.

The packaging was first class...double boxed and everything padded and tied into place to avoid damage....took some unpacking, that's for sure.
It is now assembled....the battery charged for 10 hours and ready to go.

I will let you know how I get on with it.

I now have a Wisper for sale if anyone interested.

The only thing I`d kick at is that the front chain ring looks a bit small/low geared

Hi...I too thought it was low geared but I didn't know why...not sure I'm bothered though, biked up a couple of steepish hills, nice and steady with no pressure on my knees.

Yeh! don`t know why they seem to think we all want to pedal like mad:D

Not always quite as easily sorted, the triple on the Aurora was a 48 with 13 rear( not that bad really) but still didn`t release the full potential of the bike and the chromed chain ring set( 4 bolt) was offset a touch outwards to give clearance of the frame. I managed to remove the small ring from a decent ali triple (5 stud) and leaving the mid 42 as packing managed to get the clearance(just) with the 13,15,17,19,21,23 and 34 there won`t be anything that I can ride up me thinks(and of course I left the front changer on so can drop onto the 42 if I had Everest in my sights:D
Some of the problems can be the size of the tapered sq although they are supposed to be standard and the position the crank sits at in relation to the frame clearance.

Hey, I've had my Sprite for about 2 years now. The Sensor is making weird scratching noises every now and then. Anyone know how to fix up the motor and sensor?

Also, I have the US version and that ON/OFF switch on the handle bars doesn't do anything. Anyone else lack use of the on/off switch?

Also, does anyone have any info on how to mod the bike? Maybe take off the 15MPH restriction?
