...in a day less than two weeks. :( Ooops, i can be hard on kit. I'm not too upset, and i'm sure SportsHQ would sort it, but i'd rather use this as an opportunity to upgrade. Does anyone know the size and type of bottom bracket it uses without me pulling the cranks off?

.....In less than 2 weeks?!!!! You must've been living up to your 'Streethawk' name.

You need to remember that you are not really "Jesse Mach, an ex-motorcycle cop, injured in the line of duty. Now a police troubleshooter, recruited for a top secret government mission to ride Street Hawk, an all-terrain attack motorcycle designed to fight urban crime, capable of incredible speeds up to three hundred miles an hour...and immense firepower." :D

Confession time. I have the StreetHawk theme on my ipod, and have been known to ride at night on the Blackbird whilst listening to it!

It seems to be a very common problem on cheap bikes, Both my friend and myself had to upgrade after a couple of weeks. My friend took the cheaper option of replacing the broken ball-set with another one, but it only lasted about a week. I didn't even know that I had a problem: I ordered a cartridge type upgrade for my friend and thought I might as well upgrade mine at the same time, but when I dismantled the existing BB, I found that the ball retainer was broken in two. Sorry I can't help with the exact size, but I would guess at 118mm or maybe 113mm.
