I see the cost of kalkoffs has shot up. No doubt the Euro situation is to blame. Makes the price of the bikes ive just sold a propper bargain
It's not solely the pound/euro exchange rate - prices of all bikes, pedelec and non-pedelec, from Kalkhoff and most other manufacturers shot up this year due to higher component and production costs - up to a 20% hike in some cases. Also, the Agattu and Pro Connect come with upgraded gears in 2009, which adds a little too.I see the cost of kalkoffs has shot up. No doubt the Euro situation is to blame. Yes - most definitely a good deal. I'm one very happy purchaser, and I know John is getting very excited about tomorrow.I see the cost of kalkoffs has shot up. No doubt the Euro situation is to blame. Makes the price of the bikes ive just sold a propper bargain![]()
We still have a few of the 2008 Pro Connects £200 cheaper than the 2009 ones. A very few now. And then there's the interest free credit option of course.I was planning to buy another ProConnect in July to use as a back-up. I like the bike but I can't justify paying the new price.
I'm quite happy with the gears so don't see why I have to pay more for 'better' gears.
A loyalty discount would be a good idea![]()

I just wish the snow would melt now (but we've more on the way instead). The snow started about 20 mins before we made it back home last Sunday and hasn't gone yet. My wife still hasn't been out for a ride on it as the cycle paths around here are totally unusable for now.
