Has anyone any experience of this bike or manufacture?
Won awards extensively sold through John Lewis and a few specialist bike shops.

Never heard of them until yesterday, seems to have a good spec with hidden battery.

No experience of these but if you take a look at the John Lewes website, their sample image shows the bike with the front forks back to front.

Suggests that they are just selling a commodity that they know nothing about.

I did notice, that but if JLP had any problems they would drop them like hot bricks.
However with the amount of members on this forum I can only surmise that either nobody has one, or there has been no problems.

A dealer in Great Portland Street has offered me a test ride so I think its worth a try especially as it has a 36v 18am battery hidden in the frame ,great piece of design !

The person selling is a John Lewis approved sellor i.e. not John Lewis per say. However if there were lots of problems I would agree that John Lewis would show them the door. My opinion is they look nice but never ridden one so cannot comment on how good they are. One bit of advice ask how much the replacement battery costs.

Perhaps I'm wrong, but it looks the same as this Saxonette that I spotted earlier on in the year. Available with 8fun hub drive or 8fun mid drive.

I had quite a lengthy look around the bike, and didn't walk away thinking what a load of crap. The bikes looked quite presentable and well put together. Weirdly, I even liked the blue.

Checked the price of replacement battery 36v 18am £500 compared to £750 of a kalkhoff.
I had a look at the Potanium site didn't mention Kranium as a licensee ?

Still waiting for the 2015 to appear which is roughly the same price as the Kranium only a 12amp battery though.

Kranium used to be on their site. However you could always ask them. However I know for a fact that at the very least they used to make their bikes so I would be very suprised if that has changed. £500 seems reasonable for a battery that size.
