Hi guys !!

I have a problem with the installation of my new Bafang 36v 250W CST hub motor

My previous kit was a very light Q128 CST, only 2 kg in weight and a KT-LCD O3 Display

I have purchased a new Bafang 36v 250w CST kit.

My wish was to install the new Kit, but use the TK-LCD03 screen of the previous equipment, since it satisfies my tastes 100% and already shows instantaneous power consumption, outside temperature as well as battery voltage, etc...

Here the problem arises, the connection of the KT LCD03 Display is male and that of the new kit is female.
I bought a female to female adapter cable but once connected the display does not turn on.

Has anyone successfully installed a KT Display on a Bafang hub motor?
Before purchasing another cable I would like to know if they are compatible.

All the best.

The display doesn't care or even know about what motor you have. It communicates with the controller. A KT display only works with KT controllers. If you got that kit with their controller, the KT LCD won't work with it.

As mentioned one can't use a bafang controller with it display .
Also bafang use higo's and not julet's, the pin sequence differs. One can't mix and match electric system's, only motors are generally swappable bar the suntour.
