KT LCD3 display question

So just wanted to ask A quick question regarding an LCD3 display and the power level settings. I use this display with a hub motor and throttle only no pedal sensors fitted. Even though I don’t have pedal sensors fitted the power levels still seem to adjust the power even through the throttle. I seem to get more range and power level one then power level five. Could somebody confirm that this is the case and explain to me how does it alter the power? Is it a matter of the power level adjusting the amps from the controller to the motor?

Throttle over rides the PAS when fitted and should give full power at any assist level and would assume this would be the same for throttle only use.

If you have LCD3 you should be able to tell us the wattage reading when using the throttle and if it varies when changing the assist level.

Typically with PAS operative you see about 13%, 20%, 33%, 50% & 100% power under PAS, when I use the throttle (not very often) I see only full watts on the display but have never really looked at the W output. Next time out I will have to pay attention to see what shows.

Thanks very helpfull
I could tell you my watt reading on throttle but my lcd display broke in a crash last year and doesn’t display amything lol but bike still works. What your saying makes sense it’s just that I really do seem to notice a difference in acceleration with the power mode down unless it’s just a placebo. Il take it out later and try to confirm.
I’m a motorcycle rider and prefer just having a throttle I do still pedal but not all the time.
my plan is to go from 48v to 52v and buy a 52v KT controller but I’d like to be able to adjust the amps on the go and just thought I may already have that feature with the LCD3 unit
