What were the criteria for judging? - how many times you bought panel members drinks, or how many drinks they had before judging, which is probably the same thing. I suspect no matter how good a bike Kudos or Woosh put together, they wouldn't stand a chance of a gold award because they're not in the club.

Its a very sophisticated shopping basket, but I just cannot see gran buying one to go to Tescos, sorry having spent £2700 she would obviously be going to Waitrose!!!!
It does have some similarities to one of our own bikes, with the £1700 she saved she could send Jeeves in the Merc. to collect the shopping but I suppose thats missing the point.
To be serious its German technocrat gone mad but thay love the superfluous technology, would someone educate me why e-bikes need USB ports to charge mobiles and MP3 players - this seems the hot new feature of 2012?

It's because the designers all have iPhones that have ridiculously short lasting batteries. I don't know what it is about designers and all things Apple.

I have a slight confession to make, being a Kudos rider. :) I actually have something in my panniers which charges my GPS or phone I don't need to charge the phone though but the GPS and my small camera can't last as long as the battery on the Kudos.
It's a small solar powered charger thing I bought from Lidl for a tenner.
