Latest Electric Bike Tests

The latest June edition of Velovision out now has good tests of the Sparta Ion, the Airnimal Joey Move with BionX motor, and the eZee Forte in both flat Cambridge and hilly Sheffield.

In addition, there's a long article on a bike with the xtracycle attachment fitted with the powerful Stokemonkey electric assist system.

Very much an electric bike issue.

Further note after reading:

Nine very informative pages on the tests of the three bikes, and the format of testing in both flat and very hilly country much better than we usually get, revealing of the strengths and weaknesses on hills of each bike.

Four pages on the Stokemonkey combination.

I hope Velovision continue with this practice of testing e-bikes, as it's just what consumers need, comprehensive tests and the chance to compare tests from more than one source. The only thing lacking from Velovision is anything on the technical side, but A to B magazine usually include some of that.
