My Izip has had battery probs since buying it a year ago and has gone thru 2 sets. It now has a range of less than 3 miles. It has Lead/Acid batteries and a Currie Technologies QILI 24v battery charger, Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, David J

There are many Izips, David. Can you tell us first which one yours is, they come with the old side mounted motor at the left hand side of the rear wheel or with hub motor within the back wheel?

Are the batteries fitted to it designed for cyclic use?
If the batteries are not designed for repeated deep discharge / recharge e.g they are the type of batteries for standby use, then using them in a cyclic application like an electric bike will ruin the pretty quickly.
