Hi,
I'm looking for some advice. I have a Pro Rider bike which I bought refurbished about 15 months ago and it has been great, until now.
The last couple of rides I've been on the LED is cutting out, then coming on, showing no battery, then cutting out again coming back on and showing proper battery levers and randomly repeating. Sometimes it will come back on and be fine for five or ten minutes, other times it will cut out without seconds. As far as i know, the battery is ok and I'm am going to begin my investigation with the LCD itself. It's an unmarked E-200, nothing exciting but has performed well in the past. A quick websearch suggests it's manufactured by Bigstone so my first plan is to simply replace it and see if that cures the issue. However, I'm struggling to find anywhere that sells the display so is there an alternative I can use that will just plug in at least for testing if not a full replacement.
The display is here: http://bigstone-nj.com/node/27
Picture is attached.
Am i even on the right lines thinking this might be the fault?
The bike has a 250w Dapu rear hub motor and a 36v 10.4Ah battery.
Any assistance gratefully appreciated as I'd like to get the bike back up and running properly.
