After hitting quite a few issues with converting one bike (27.5+ post in this forum), I'm now looking to do a rear conversion on one of my custom cruisers (google Ruff cycles for the sort of thing). Obviously they weigh more than a regular steel bike so is there a goto rear drive if weight is a concern? Or is it much of a muchness between the usual suppliers - Oxy, Panda, Dillenger etc?

Many thanks

Matt

you have a Nexus-3 at the rear.
the obvious solution is a front BPM motor kit.

Thanks for replying Trex. Well spotted! I'd probably lose that. Sorry for my lack of knowledge, but what's a BPM motor kit?

Agree with that. As a cruiser owner myself, keep the nexus, use a front hub. They don't get much better than the BPM.
