Thanks to the great assistance from here, my 48v controller and motor is now working fine on the 36v lithium battery pack that I already had.
I'm now trying to make the wiring as neat as possible, and I'm trying to identify the two pin connector on the battery pack.
My other ebike has a neat rack/control box with a built in plug for the socket on this battery pack, where it slides in.
I'd like to be able to use the battery with either bike, without altering it in any way. So I'm looking for a flat two pin plug that fits the existing socket when I'm using it on the bike without the carrier. I realise it's not a keyed connector, so I'll have to be careful whenever I plug it in to get the polarity right.
The socket, as shown in the photo, is flat two pin with 13mm spacing (centres) and each blade is 6mm wide maximum. I've tried a US mains plug, but the spacing on that is not wide enough apart.
Can anyone tell me if it's a standard RS type part please ?

Here's a photo of my other ebike, the one the battery came from. It's a converted German "alubike", full suspension, with a Sachs 7 speed hub. It's really light, even with the 250watt 36v ebay kit fitted, and goes well, up to about 18mph for around 30 miles on the flat. (it's what got me hooked, hence the experiments now with the 1000w bike !)
