Hello Pedelec members, could I please take this opportunity to introduce myself & my new business to the forum.

About me! For the last 14 odd years I have worked in marketing the Kit Car Industry which as a niche industry with ever changing technology has many parallels with the e-bike scene here in the UK.

The concept of this new venture/business is to offer from stock a wide choice of brands varying in price point, from £495.00 up to £3500, including mountain bikes, folded, classics, both in hub and crank drive systems.

The four brands we have selected (Kudos, KTM, BH Emotion & Haibike) to sell through our business allow us to present the best of each category.

Kudos is the lowest cost of the brands-They are currently refining their range with emphasis changing towards mountain bike styles. In conjunction with Kudos we are able to offer some really great “bargains”, their Tourer bike at £595.00 must be an extremely attractive offer for someone on a budget? The Kudos secret has been the best seller over the 6 week period I’ve been open, it’s such a nice bike, well balanced when riding, everyone that rides this bike loves it. Kudos are also a great company to deal with, their back up from my point of view was one of the many reasons I went with them. They have an incredible stock range enabling me to offer on site a Kudos e-bike to take away same day.

KTM is the core brand, the engineering knowledge of this company is reflected in the solid and smoothness of this brand. The full range is impossible to stock- 150 bikes would be required to cover all the types, sizes and styles. We have therefore selected the Macina Bold, E Race P, Cross, Sport, Wave (Step through) and compact as demonstrators, a spectrum of the range.

BH Emotion Is our choice for the road/race e-bike, it’s a fast bike with easy handling and very attractive styling, definitely the fast way to travel in style! Also chosen due to their customer service, very supportive and great bikes too.

Haibike In our opinion the best off road e-bike, the 2014 product range has exploded including the dynamic race and super race bikes. Have just received the X Duro SL 26 and a X Duro AMT 26 and they are amazing pieces of kit.

So we currently stock 40 plus bikes and we possibly have the largest choice of e-bikes from one single location in the UK.

Our shop is located in Hampton Wick village (Just over the Kingston Bridge for those who know the area) near Bushy Park for test rides. It’s a beautiful part of London to visit, bring the family- there is a lovely kids park nearby, Hampton Court Palace is within 2 miles with lots of nice pubs, restaurants and independent coffee houses nearby to make the a visit to us a nice event.

Please make an appointment to test ride any bike and we will prepare it in advance. Please note carefully our opening days and times on our website.

I look forward to meeting any Pedelec members,

All the best

Tom Saunders

Welcome to the forum Tom, I wish you well with your new venture. Your range of e-bikes covering the whole spectrum as it does should have a model to suit everyone.

Hi Tom, welcome to the area, surprised you haven't dropped in to say hello yet!

Of course anyone visiting Tom's new shop will also find the www.50cycles.com showroom a mere 200 yards away on the same street, where you can try out the latest Kalkhoff and Focus electric bikes. This probably makes Hampton Wick the new electric cycling capital in the UK (with Sigma Cycles conveniently in between for anyone wanting a non-electric bike)!
