i can fly it but landing it is another problem as has no wheels and snaps the prop 9 times out of ten.

was in to rc stuff years ago just thought could power it from 3 cells but dont fit in the batt hole and 2 is not enough for 11.1v

also the motor can pull 20a at that voltage ;)

I think it's Tesla's fault buying every single one produced.
Any idea if the free cree torch in your batteries ebay link cuts off at the correct low volts? I would be paranoid about forgeting and taking them down to empty.

The Red Ditch
Soundwave is right on this

Nothing to do with age, it's just the way it is. Ultra fire and other are liars
Well, for less than a tenner, I can live with finding that out the hard way. It's handy to know. Cheers. :)

Good or bad cells, it easily blows my poundland head-torch away, hands down. Hopefully, it'll do ok for my short evening rides through the winter.

I bought the cells sw is championing and yes they are very long lasting and yes they are expensive, but the higher price was exaberated by the high cost of a charger and battery box. I would have been happy enough if they hadn't been stolen but they were and I won't be replacing them. I have 2 fake packs that only cost a few quid and each one does 1.5 hours which is more than enough for me..
I can see where sw is coming from as he wants the biggest and best that's available and at dongle speeds you really need to be able to see up front..
