Hi, I have a bike with BBSO2B middrive Bafang motor. At present I am using a 48V 13ah battery and getting about 30 miles range. I want to go for longer rides and I am looking at getting a 48V 20ah battery that I have been informed should give me about 50 miles.
I would like help in finding a reputable company where I could buy a well made reliable battery. I live in the UK , Nort East England. I have been looking on Ebay and Amazon there are so many and averaging about £250. Much appreciate any advice and suggestions.

Greenlance and Yose are both good suppliers. If you have the Hailong type, note that there are three different base types and three different connectors, making nine variants. The battery normally comes with the base, but if you want to still use your old one, you need to get the right type. You can buy the connectors separately, and they're fairly easy to swap as long as you're happy with soldering.

That's the most common type, and it's what I got from Greenlance on the last two orders, except mine had the round pins in the connector. Their listing shows the 4-pin blade connector, the same as yours, so it might be an idea to check with them to make sure that's exactly what you're going to get. They're always very helpful and friendly when you call them.

They're always offering a discount code. At the moment, their website says 5%, but it is often 10% and has been as high as 20% on black Friday. If you speak with them, ask them if we can have a blanket forum discount of say 10%. When they give it to you, we'll split the difference, so send me half the extra 5%, which is 2 1/2% of £360, which is £9. If they agree to the forum discount, please let us know the code. They gave me a personal lifetime discount for recommending them, but I have never used it. I recommend them because their batteries are good, cheap, the delivery is very fast and their customer support is excellent. Nobody would ever influence me by offering freebies.

Never buy lager in multi-boxes. One is sometimes tempted to quaff a few during the day.
