HI, I'm looking for my first E bike im after a fatbike as it will mainly be used on not so smooth terrain, Im after something that has decent power, range doesn't need to be massive but there is a lot of change in elevation. I've looked into the radrhino but I fear that the motor may not be powerful enough for me as I'm a big guy. I've also looked into doing a DIY of buying a standard fat bike and then I've seen a bafang mid drive motor kit that can do 500w power which I think would be better for me although I would prefer to not build it myself lol.

Any help is appreciated

Just built this with tsdz2 750 watt do not try a mid drive in a fat bike as a first build the learning curve is costly
The motor costs a lot more than for a standard bike, and getting a battery to fit is not straight forward
Totally gutted as its slightly to small for me at 6ft 2 so will sell it and try and find a extra large frame to build another
PS the bafang that is in stock for fat bikes is the bbshd others are special order

hi Woosh do a new 48 Volt rear Motor and rim kit i believe i would ask them what the Dropout options are , then i would get a Fat bike off Shpock or similar to suit ( can get a decent fat bike between £400 - 600 , this is the way i want to go

Rear hubkit with Bafang G060.500 and 48V 12AH HL Battery
