Have you tried a Tonaro? They are Chinese crank drives with a throttle and many members ,like me, think they are excellent.

Bicycle frame bikes are no good to me. I would need to have a trailer attached all time to carry stuff.

On my current bike I can strap down large items on the back, and also on the floorboards. Appreciate the bigger seat too.

Dont think it will be too long before UK sellers offer it to us, if alibaba sold single units to my door id be tempted to get one.
