If? you have the key number (can be stamped on the lock face) and can recall the profile (key shape). ebay etc will have sellers of spare keys. (circa £10+)

Otherwise a replacement lock with new keys can be sourced circa (£5)and fitted. this will require 'picking' the existing lock, and Youtube will provide you with lots of videos 2mins long + on how to do this.. *Having 'TheLockPickingLawyer' as one of my Utube regular views, i think its called raking or bumping the lock if you need to 'dig deeper' for instruction there.. ( its a 'is that all there is too it??' skill when it comes to ebike battery level locks..)

Once the lock is picked and you can remove the battery, you can open the case and replace the lock with a new lock with its own keys.. they are a generic replacement item

I worked in maintenance at Great Ormond St, we were given keys called jiggler keys. You stick them in a lock and jiggle about and with luck they work. I tried them on my battery, the first was a no, the second was a yes.
I'd like to have ago at your lock for the hell of it. I bought a chain lock to wrap around my battery as better security. As thelarkbox said battery locks are pants.

I cycled to the hospital when I had covid. I locked up the bike in what was a reasonable safe area. The battery was gone when I left hospital. I figured I must have not locked the battery. More than likely someone knew how to do the jiggle.

Jiggler keys might work on a one sided cut key but not likely on a two sided cut key.

Hi thanks for getting back to me it’s a two sided key
I was going to say I miss placed it in a senior moment but will change that to a school girl moment

I beg to differ. When I looked into getting replacement keys myself. Key cutters told me they didn't have the blanks and as they are high security keys. . I'd have to go back to the manufacturer . Glad I didn't as I already have the keys to cope with the issue.

I think patience is way more important than skill ;) remember the short vids probably cut out the 5 minutes or more of fiddling and they had been practicing too ;)

There is the fall back option of a commercial locksmith, If you dont have a shopfront within range a man in a van may incur a call out charge and or minimum rate?? £££££££??
(while locksmiths can cut keys, not all key cutters are locksmiths...)
