Don't waste you money on anything other than a GPS SIM tracker. Be aware that some trackers advertised as having GPS, don't. Instead, they triangulate from the GPRS signal, which is not sufficient to find your bike.

This is not a tracking device, it's an expensive key finder using a Bluetooth signal. When your phone is close enough to the trackR it causes it to emit a beeping sound. Attach it on your keychain and if you stray to far from them an alarm sounds on your phone, it also works in reverce so if you've left your phone behind, your keychain will let you know. Leave both behind and your up s**t creek :p
If your prone to forgetting where you've parked your car, bike, speedboat or whatever, just take a picture of it when you first park it with something memorable in the background, like a shop front, street name or car parking sign. Don't use a moveable object as a reference, like I parked next to a white van so it will be easy to find or I'll park under this lamp post as it has 3 pigeons on it
Next week I'll look into the confusing subject of tying shoe laces :)
