I have been recommed these as very good for my Optibike and does anyone in the Uk stock them?
I need the 3 wire hall effect model

Magura Throttle Twist Grip
Works like an American (right hand) motorcycle throttle control mechanism.
Specifications:
Designed to fit tubing diameters up to 20mm (standard bike handle bars) without customizing.
A twist-grip throttle suitable for most controllers.
90° twist gives zero to full speed (0-100% of pot travel).
It uses 5K pot or Hall effect model with 3 wires (used on Optibike)
It has an integral tube clamp for 22mm diameter tube.
The cable supplied is 1.8m long, 3 core 16/0.2mm

You need to get that suspension seen too on the Optibike! :D

Don't know of anybody in the UK who has these Steve, sorry, but personal preference would be for a split throttle not a full length one. Split throttles are a bit easier to use and create less wrist ache I've found.

Who recommended that one and why? It may work, but you mention that you want a three wire hall sensor one, and that one has a potentiometer! You should be able to use any hall sensor throttle. Don't worry about the number of wires as long as there's at least three. The three wires to the hall sensor are 5v, 0v and the return signal wire, You only connect them and you can leave any other wires. If the connectors are incompatible just cut them off and join the wires directly or use your own connector. I don't see why this one shouldn't work:
ELECTRIC E-SCOOTER THROTTLE TWIST CONTROL RAZOR on eBay (end time 02-Apr-11 19:26:26 BST)

Did you / anyone find a Magura supplier for the hall effect type throttle- at a reasonable price?
