My daughter is pestering me to get the models mobile number!

Congratulations David,

It is great that Wisper has received high ratings and is marketed at a good price point. You have clearly added many new riders to the brand with your continued support through this forum. When I buy any item I also look at the level of post purchase support offered, you clearly demonstrate your commitment over and over again, well done..

Now is the time for Wisper Wear, lightweight waterproof clothing for the age of the electric bike, with a Wisper insignia of course...

Do we all have to talk very quietly whilst wearing it? :D It could get known as a subversive movement - "The Wisperers"............(You'll never hear them comming :D ).

I'd say the secret to succesfull branding is not to overdo it, and just keep it lurking in the subconcious. So as to make the customer feel like they've made an individual considered decision, rather than been brow beaten into it. The ideal is to have your name become synonymous with a product type, eg. Hoover.

Love it!

Hi Guys

Do you have a crystal ball John?!

Wisper Wear is on the way, we are working with a design company in New Zealand who are working on a range of weather proof and other clothing aimed at electric bike rider than the non powered bike guys.

Hopefully we will have something to show you soon.

Best regards David

Hmmm, there's a discrepancy between the number of stars on the website and the number printed in the magazine. I'll say no more... except that only one bike gets five stars in print.

5 stars

Yes I noticed that too Tim, in the printed paper they gave us 4 stars but on the Daily Mail site they gave us 5, according to the Mail the error was in the print, hence the Wisper 905se City had a full page and was at the front of the article and the bike you mention got a half page at the back!!! :D ;) Not bad for a bike that's £800 less expensive!

All the best David

I noticed only 4 stars in the mag too.How did Steve manage to get the coverage or did the Mail contact him?Its nice to see the coverage but I think it could of had a tad more detail on the bikes and less on what Tim was wearing..............

More detail

Of course you are correct Bigbee, but any publicity is good publicity as the saying goes and it brings electric bikes into the mainstream.

We're also giving away a Pro Connect in Wired magazine this month too - electric bikes are breaking out all over! I think some telly coverage is imminent too, isn't that right David?

Wired

Yes Tim, the Gadget show is on sometime this month (and they are giving away a Wisper 905se Sport) but I haven't found it yet, I will have a look tonight on the new Sky search thingy.

Wired have a 906se prototype as well so we wait for the results with bated breath, oh I do so love the banter Tim.

All the best David

Hi David,
the firm in NZ wouldn't happen to be based in Christchurch? If so, then it is probably the firm I bought a well-designed cyclist's showerproof top from; this has proven equally good for my normal bike and for my e-bike.
Cheers

Hi Paul, I am sorry, it sounds like them but I'm not certain. I am liaising with our Australasian manager Anthony Clyde, he is in the Marshall Islands at the moment seeing a few perspective Wisper dealers and having some R and R, lucky sod!

When he materialises I will find out for you.

All the best David

I looked and found a few episodes of the new series Tim but the electric bike challenge was not on any of the previews, I will keep looking but it seems it will be on later in the year.
