Make your own cycle lanes ..

Interesting follow on to posts from a couple of months back.

This link tells of prototype laser lighting for your 'own bike lane' through lasers beamed out around the bike.

This link is on the soft loose chalk dispenser you can put on back wheels which means that over time, you mark you own bike lanes (green or amber )

After resufacing and remarking a road in Blackburn Lancs recently the painters must have been on a bonus for painting cycles.......i think there are 6 in 30 yards....i will try to get a photo and post it this weekend...I think its a cycle lane.....

The local council here have different sized cycles to paint on the road so they can have amazing shrinking or expanding cycle lanes depending on how drunk the bloke painting the broken white lines was when he meandered down the road. We have one cycle lane where it's debatable who has more road - cars or cyclists! Not that any car drivers stay out of the lanes of course!
