Given the widespread driver animosity towards cyclists in this car obsessed country, they may even get a compensating surge in new business! After all, car drivers outnumber cyclists about 10 to 1 in the UK, and from an economic standpoint may well be more likely to be householders with gardens.

Makes me wonder how often the cyclist and van both share this route. If it is frequently, maybe the cyclist is afraid of pressing charges?

Strange they forgot to mention the lack a current vehicle excise licence and MOT for the vehicle.

In the past I have probably driven a vehicle without tax and insurance for short distances in an emergency. I did however have the good sense to keep my mouth shut, and not draw attention to myself. Seems logical to me.
