I have a Sparta Ion M gear which is about 2 years old and in good condition. I have ridden it for about a year all told as my knees were playing up and I started using my Gazelle instead.
What would you say would be a fair price to sell it.
Hello Marina. I've used my formula for s/h e-bike pricing to establish this for you. I'm basing this on an original purchase price of £1429 and an estimate that a new battery would be £300. Since your battery is an NiMh I'm allowing for one year of life being left at it's present two years old, giving the existing battery a value of £100.
£1429 less new battery price of £300 = £1129
Less 35% (£395) two year depreciation = £734
Plus £100 residual battery value = S/H selling price of £834
This figure can be slightly adjusted up or down according to condition.

You benefit from having an NiMh battery Marina. Had it been a lithium battery, it would probably be a little more expensive, say £400, and at two years would have no residual value. That would have left the S/H price at only £667.
