After vacillating for many months over which mirror would be best on my bike's Dutch-style bars, I finally made a decision this morning and ordered the Mirrycle product recommended by several forum members here.

In some places, including ebay, it can be a tad expensive but a few moments online produced a price of £12.87, inc VAT and delivery which I think seems reasonable given the feedback the product has attracted.

Should anyone else be in the market for a that particular mirror, I bought it from Bikes & Parts for Mountain Bikes For Sale, Cheap Bicycles & Road Bikes, (that's dotbike to those who know about these things) a company I'd never used, indeed never heard of before this morning. I have no idea if they are competitive on other products or services but I imagine that some of our members have probably used the company, based in Oxfordshire. I had a cursory look at their product page and I noted that they deal in fairly expensive bikes rather than the low-end, budget stuff I'm more familiar with seeing in bike shops.

I expect the mirror will arrive early next week so I'll fit it when I'm next at home after a long weekend away.

Duly fitted the Mirrycle today and found it to be a well engineered piece of kit as other users have remarked previously. Any doubts I had about its application on swept-back, Dutch-style bars were quickly dispelled after a short run covering a busy traffic lane followed by a few miles along some canal towpath and badly surfaced local roads.

The familiarisation process was very short and within 30 minutes, I felt as if the mirror had always been there so I'm happy to add my recommendation to those who have previously commented favourably on the Mirrycle.
