Montana E power pedal assist problem

Hi,
wondered if there is a wiring diagram/ fault guide or anyone may know of the problem
Bike was given to me to look at friend said ok last summer, wont go now

Battery fully charged, and holding 39.8v even when left out overnight so that ok fuse good red light comes on but not all green ones. That may be a glitch caused by me not sure.

Have taken plastics off .pedal sensor ok plus magnets all there and air gap. All wiring looks ok have not checked brake wires but wanted to check them at controler end rather than mesing up by handle bars

Dont know what values I would be checking the pedal sensor for.
Any help appreciated

Isn't the pedal sensor a 5v system, 3 wire red 5v black ground and middle the signal wire 0-5v? Surely the green lights should be on fully charged - bms mebe? 39.8v fully charged sounds low for 10S lithium ion.

Pedal sensors very rarely give problems except when people take them off and put the magnet disc on the wrong way round, on which case they work backwards. You should be able to get your meter probes in the back of the connector while it's connected. It should be somewhere between 3 and 5v. The other thing to check is that the ignition switch wire into the controller has 36v on it.

Also fish offal in the sensor leads can result in bizarre signal patterns unidentifiable by your average oriental controller type.

Just in case you don't know: The pedal sensor wires are 0v (normally black), 5v (normally red) and the third wire pulses with 5v as the magnets pass. The 5v is sometimes about 3.5v. Check black to red and black to signal.
